The challenge
Where they started
SUCASU makes specialty coffee accessible to roasters, coffee businesses and everyday coffee lovers in Lebanon. It serves very different customers at once: roasters buying green coffee, cafés ordering wholesale, home brewers buying roasted beans and equipment, and roasters who want to rent professional machines by the hour. The platform had to handle retail and wholesale in one place and let roasters reserve machine time without endless back-and-forth messages.
Goals
- Sell retail and wholesale in one store
- Give trade customers their own accounts
- Let roasters book machine time online
Our solution
What we built
We built the platform on WordPress and WooCommerce with Elementor and the Blocksy theme, customised through a child theme. The catalogue covers green and roasted coffee, bar tools, brewing gear, equipment, care products and packaging, with advanced product filters. A custom sign-up and login flow gives wholesale customers their own accounts, and the co-roasting section lets roasters reserve hourly slots on a Giesen W6A, a Diedrich E1 or a sample roaster.
