The challenge
Where they started
Since 2018, Z Kitchen has become one of the best-known dining addresses in Lagos, featured by the Financial Times and 50 Best Discovery and named among the Spirited Awards 2025 regional top 10. After a full transformation of the restaurant, its website needed to match the new experience: show off the food, drinks and spaces, make booking a table effortless, present catering and the wider Z Collective, and give press and job seekers a clear way in.

Our solution
What we built
We built the site on WordPress with a customised block theme in Z Kitchen's signature orange and illustrated pattern, using image sliders throughout to let the food, cocktails and interiors lead. A SevenRooms reservation widget is available from every page, and the food, wine and champagne, cocktails and spirits, and catering menus are one click away as downloadable PDFs. Sections present the main dining room, The Wine Room and Z Bar, Z Catering and the Z Collective family of brands, alongside contact details, opening hours, recruitment and press contacts, an In the Press section and WhatsApp chat.
Online reservations
A SevenRooms booking widget, with a Reservations button always on screen.
